Welcome HEMA Enthusiasts!
All students must complete a Release and Wavier of Liability and Indemnity Agreement in order to comply with the requirements of the HEMA Alliance (HEMAA), either in person or online HERE.
For the winter, classes are held Sundays at 79 Central ave in Jersey City.
Beginner students must pre-register for classes. Beginner class is from 11am-12pm. Moving on to advanced classes must be pre-approved by an instructor. Advanced classes are held from 12-2pm.
Liberty Sword Club is a HEMAA Affiliate, which means our liability insurance is provided through the HEMA Alliance. For Intro Lessons and Insurance registration, please either fill the Single Student Intro Registration Form or provide the information via email. Membership to the HEMAA is free for the first two months of a student starting classes at LSC. After the initial two month period, students *must register* as full HEMAA members in order to be covered under affiliate insurance. This would be the “In-network Discounted Alliance Membership” option since Liberty Sword Club is a HEMAA Affiliate. Students not registered not only put us at risk for losing insurance coverage, but are also personally and financially liable for any damage or injury.
